The design of the home reflects an English Tudor style with a warm
ambiance and rustic approach. The home was created to be dramatic yet comfortable and soothing to one’s senses. We wanted to take advantage of every space to provide a home of delight and splendor for today’s family. Our goal is to build a home that combines elegance and craftsmanship to every detail, features the latest technology and products, and is captivating yet warm and inviting.
   The home will use recycled materials that are free of formaldehyde and VOCs and are safe for families and children. We are also taking close attention to the air quality and energy efficiency in the home. Our approach is to show elegance and quality while focusing on a Green approach. The home will use sustainable materials,
dramatically decreasing one’s dependency on energy, thus reducing utility bills, while being environmentally friendly in the process.

Designer Approach to Home-A-Rama
Kristine Bastian is using the canvas of this English Tudor home and its ageless appeal in a nod to their inherent understanding of the public’s pent-up demand to “go green” without sacrificing comfort and style. Along with the builder’s use of environmentally friendly construction concepts and materials, the interior of the home will also feature eco-friendly design concepts. Some of the “greener” features will include SFC hardwoods, recycled carpeting and leather floors, low- to no-VOC paints, energy saving decorative plumbing fixtures, “green” cabinetry designed by a local cabinet maker, and window treatments made from organic fabrics. Overall, the home will convey a sophisticated English Manor feel while maintaining an elegant, but comfortable ambiance. The new homeowner will not have to sacrifice luxury to live a healthier lifestyle and help maintain a “greener” earth.
